It's saying something that even after years of writing and publishing essays and articles, performing my own comedy skits, more years of "Chomsky and Me" manuscript edits, editorial influences, classes, conferences, changing points of view about whether this would be a book of essays or a memoir, I still (mostly) enjoy writing. When I'm not writing, I'm playing with our two dogs and Lily the cat and cleaning my house to clear my head.
